I fail to see why him holding onto your door frame prevents you driving off, but then I'm a bit beligerent like that (I've twice 'flicked' people off my car who decided to climb onto the bonnet, by accelerating then jamming on the brakes).

I have to say I'm particularly beligerent at the gits who hang about traffic lights with dirty rags. When I got my shinny new company car a few years ago, less than a week later one of these sods ignored my saying 'no' at Tottenham Court Road, proceded to smear crap all over my windscreen anyway, then when I reiterated no and wouldnt give him money (I didnt even have any money) the sod put a scratch right accross the Panther Black bonnet, in fact I think he had a nail on the end of his squegee for the purpose. Sadly for me (although it was a bit of a life saver for him) I didn't realise till the next day when I saw the smear of dirty water on the bonnet with the scratch under.

Since then I've had an incredibly dim view of these sods, and would probably run them over before letting them put a dirty rag on my window again.

Back to your incidents though, that doesnt sound good, in fact I think I'd be talking to the police about it. What he's said goes a fair way beyond playful banter, and if he's seen and recognised you away from that junction and your car there is some cause for concern.

Just be careful if you do do anythign against him, not to let him near you or yor car again.
