Been to Brean

Well, I've been and gone and come back again...

There's a party tonight and I'm wondering whether:

a) Alcohol will fail to have an effect due to the large amounts I consumed over the last week.
b) All the alcohol I have consumed over the last week will have a cumulative effect and wipe me out.
