Yesterday I did some research for next year's Easter exhibition and I found some great stuff for you all.

1. Buy some of these trainers. They're awesome - and made from old suits. ([livejournal.com profile] tails_redux: I'm sure you could get some in tweed!)

2. [livejournal.com profile] squiddity: I thought this one was right up your street! These people are looking for volunteers to set up an island tribe in Fiji.

3. [livejournal.com profile] xxxrated and [livejournal.com profile] myrrddr: This one reminded me of you plant-a-tree campaign. Offset your carbon emissions by donating money to their environmental projects. Oh, and if you book flights through Co-op travelcare then you can offset your plane flights at the same time.

4. Finally, All of these companies will provide you with green energy from sustainable sources, whilst saving wildlife at the same time. Awww. And while we're on the subject, Smile are a nice bank who don't fund arms dealers.

Some random thoughts about memories and how they work...

I just made a salad and the cheese I used reminded me of Aeon Flux. Because the first time I tried it, that's what I was watching. I also have a top that always makes me think of Gremlins 2 because that's what was on TV when I made it.

I know that certain smells have certain associations (did you know that vanilla pods have the least disliked smell because they have the same aroma as breast milk? Freudian, eh?), but does everyone get the same kind of connection between such everyday things? (Neither cheese nor Aeon Flux have played any special or significant part in my life!)

Or am I just obsessed with TV?
