Just drove past a HUGE fire somewhere in the north of Birmingham. It was quite pretty - a giant black teardrop floating in the sky, lit from beneath by orange flame and street lights.
I saw three or four jets of water being hosed onto it, and something which looked like a big white firework shot out from the side. I'm guessing it was a warehouse, but there's nothing coming up on Google yet...
Edit: Ah, ITN have just said that it was a battery factory and stock has been busy exploding for a while. (I only discovered this as I was entranced by the previous article about a goods train crash, voiced by a man who sounded suspiciously like Ringo Starr...)
