I missed most of it, but saw a bit of it towards the end, when the Earth's shadow was receding across the face of the moon. If I'd been at home rather than in the middle of Brum, I'd probably have paid it more attention, as the skies would have been much darker.

Yuss, I seed it. It were right purty. Though we had to look through one eye of a binoculars, as they weren't really designed to focus as far as the moon. It reminded me of the Clanger's planet, for some reason. But without the dustbin lids. Or Clangers. Or even an Iron Chicken. Not one skymoo in sight. Bugger.
