If madness is one step away from genius, then the next nobel prize will be going to someone from Cardiff for sure. If yesterday's post wasn't enough, guess what happened last night. No?

I was waiting for Megs outside the cinema with HP and JBun when around twenty guys ran past shouting "We need Johnnies!" A little strange, yes. But they were all handcuffed together in pairs and wearing nothing but pink posing pouches.

So after the film I was wandering home thinking how disturbing that had all been (My eyes! They burn!) when a bloke wearing just a blue ladies swimming costume ran past me. With toilet paper taped to his elbows and knees and the middle of his back.

I hope to God it's Rag week.

Things which amused me yesterday:
  • Went to 'XS Music' (dodgy little music place in the discout shopping village by my work which sells all the CDs *no-one* else wants at all.) It's great. Last time I went in I got a promo copy of Einsturzende Neubauten's 'Strategies Against Architecture III' for £3. This time I got dodgy goth compilation 'Music from the Shadows: V1' for £1. I love being in the minority.

  • The new Fray Bentos 'We make all the pies' advert followed by an advert for Co-op featuring lots of sheep singing to the tune of 'Jim'll fix it' (Baa baa-baa Baa ba-baa...) followed by that advert for Capital One with the vampire, which I'm *positive* features Eileen Daly, face of Redemption, in some kind of overly-subtle joke by the casting people.

  • Getting a letter from old school chum Gracie (who I thought had dropped off the side of the planet) AND my ticket for Carnival of Souls *Yay*...

  • Graffiti artist Banksy dressing up as an old man and hanging one of his own paintings (entitled 'Crimewatch UK is ruining the countryside for everyone') on the wall at the National Gallery. Apparently, no-one noticed for 2 hours, when it fell off the wall on its own accord...

  • After two weeks of extensive tests, Doctors have concluded that Ozzy Osbourne does not have Parkinson's disease and are still trying to figure out what is causing the tremor which is ruining his life. (story) (I know I'm not a medical person, but perhaps someone should suggest that several decades of hard drugs may have something to do with it?)
