Phishing

Two random journals have added me (and quite a few Cardiff people) today:

[livejournal.com profile] jarytso
[livejournal.com profile] vypuet

Both have the same text and then a link to what looks like a 'Work from home' website: "That morning it seemed as though the earth beneath me was no longer there. I didn’t desire anything. All I wanted was to remain in bed, alone to the company of my own worries and tears..."

I know I shouldn't have to tell anyone this, but do not click on that link.
I've reported both journals to LJ abuse so they should disappear soon.

Anyone else having similar problems today?

Thank you for the heads up. I thought my memory was playing up as I had no idea who they were.

you use firefox right? (I assume this is the case because you love sweet internets and know IE makes them cry)

it's a plugin that allows you to satisfy your curiosity from behind a nice XSS proof shield.

Me too! Bah. The spammy phishy flookers. Thanks very much for the alert mate - I hadn't even noticed they'd appeared!

I'd noticed, not least as he added someone dormant for 4 years. Shame it's a fake, the chap in the photo looks kinda cool.
