I recently had my card cancelled. Apparently because of a suspicious online transaction, in which a potential fraudster had attempted to spend £200 on flowers. FOR MY MUM. I seem to get quite nice fraudsters. The last time I had my account suspended was when some dodgy type who definitely wasn`t me attempted to fraudulently pay a large chunk of money into MY mortgage.
Handily I sit 3 desks away from someone who in a previous life developed the AI thats used in a significant portion of worldwide card fraud checking so it`s never too much effort to hit someone for it.
