Ah, the perils of having to get up early for work. If you're a bit sad like me (and Richard Herring) you will have seen far too much crap morning television. It has it's uses: Everybody Loves Raymond makes me leave the house immediately - I'd be late every day if they ever stop showing it... (They've got the DVD in HMV so perhaps I could buy that if morning TV ever becomes good.)

Anyway, one of the things I end up watching when Friends isn't on is the ghastly and garish Big Cook, Little Cook. (In case you've never seen it, it's about a chubby bloke and a tiny guy who looks like Dennis Pennis who are obviously colourblind and make vomit inducing food for fictional characters.)

So imagine my surpise when I saw Big Cook and Little Cook on Five's late night review show That's so last week making snidey comments about crappy TV. WTF???

Upon further investigation it turns out that they're a Harry Hill style comedy double act. I am suitably disturbed. Does anyone want to go and see their show?

I despise Big Cook, Little Cook. Little Cook in particular makes me want to break things. What a sell out for two 'proper' comedians to do a programme like that though!

They appear to have done a three-day corporate training thing for Telewest too, according to that site. Fuckers. Still, it could be worse - they could have done one for NTL.

I am not familiar with Dusty and Dan, but the very fact that they are Big Cook and Little Cook was enough to make me doubt the hilarity of their proper comedy...

It sounds like a mad program, but seeing how it's on at 6 in the morning I'll neeeeeever get to see it. Unless I stay up for 3 extra hours especially.

I like your journal and love your userinfo. Brown shoes are beyond wrong. I'm going to add you if you don't mind terribly. Also, in more direct comment to this post, thought you might like to know Richard Herring's blog has an RSS feed: [livejournal.com profile] richardherring
