"Come to Daddy! Come to Daddy!"

Last week, I was bombarded with links to this guy's scanner photography project. I'm sure you've all seen it, and if not, where were you?
Anyway, I thought that scanner photography might be quite a cool thing to try. Until I read the instructions on making the camera and then I decided it was all too much bother. But after a conversation with
lee_chaos about photocopiers and that website about scanning cats I figured I didn't really need a camera to do some experiments.

So here's the first. Pretty strange, huh? Vaguely reminiscent of Rubber Johnny...

So weird.

I don't really know what I was thinking in this one. It's not that odd but I put it in because it made me laugh.

Teeth. They look revolting, don't they? They're not that colour in real life, I swear!

This one is sort of pretty, in a way...

OK. Now here's where things start to go a bit weird again.

I discovered you could get some really odd effects by not moving that much at all.

Eeep! This one was almost so brilliant!
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to scan yourself and post your pictures here. Go on. You know you're going to be bored in the office later.

Instead, virtually the entire town goes from "it's a mountain lion that's ripping out throats" to "let's kill ourselves a werewolf" in no time at all. To tip you over the edge, let's just say that the film also features a campfire-side C&W singalong (swaying from side-to-side included), which, naturally, is an anti-drugs song!
