miss_squiddyLondon and Bristol goth types might want to take a look at this website - Future Cinema is coming to the SE1 Club this thursday and is at Ashton Court on the 9th of June.
"The venues will be transformed into a transylvanian gothic themed palace with a vintage gothic cinema, a ballroom and a host of other rooms each featuring a wide range of different entertainment.
Confirmed is a rescore of the classic horror film 'NOSFERATU' by Darryn Harkness (New telepathics, Serafin), leading audio visual architects UNITED VISUAL ARTISTS, special rescore by world renowned djs OPTIMO, leading VJS THE ECLECTIC METHOD, rising band LAUTREC and PERICO AND THEIR FABULOUS PAPER CINEMA SHOW. Over 100 performers are confirmed for the event being directed by dynamic theatre directors ANGELIKI AND GALYA who are turning the space into a surreal and highly interactive environment. There will be trapeze artists, installations, burlesque performers, gypsy bands, DJS, roving musicians and much much more. The gothic cinema will house FUTURE SHORTS showing the very best in world short film and music video including classic short films by MIKE LEIGH AND SPIKE JONZE alongside the very best new directors."
