A lesson in effective time wasting...

Alcohol Consumed:
  • Red wine: 1 bottle

  • Lager: 8 pints

  • Beer Cocktails: 1 pint

  • Spirits: 2 shots

  • Takeaways Consumed:
  • Mexican: 1

  • Pizza: 1

  • MacDonalds: 1

  • Films watched:
  • Underworld: Vampires vs. Werewolves - bit cheesy, dialogue stilted, but a nice twisty plot and excellent costumes. With Bill Nighy from 'Still Crazy' as head vampire, which is a little distracting, as I kept expecting him to shout "I am a Golden God!" Probably not deserving of a place in my collection of crap vampire films.

  • Pirates of the Carribean: Bringing the total of people in the world *not* to have seen this film to 0.

  • Working Girl: HP's fault. The Hair. The shoulder pads. The 80s. Uuurgh!

  • 10 things I hate about you: Mmmm. Heath Ledger.

  • Ferris Bueller's Day Off: Aaah. A fine selection

  • Final Destination 2: We took bets on the death scenes. Unsurprisingly, no-one won.

  • House of 1000 Corpses: At last! It wasn't quite what I was expecting and some of the camera work annoyed me, but much enjoyed. Definitely one for horror film buffs, as sketchy plot was made from scenes copied from other movies. Even down to choice of music...

  • Return of the Killer Tomatoes: [livejournal.com profile] xxxrated chose it. What can I say? (It suits you!)

  • Clubs Attended:
  • Inquisition: If that counts (it's in an ice rink). Someone seemed to have discovered an 80s compilation, so music was better than normal, and the traditional 'battle of the glowsticks' only happened a couple of times...

  • Parties Attended:
  • Esther-Bun's leaving do #3: Not content with Tuesday and Wednesday's leaving parties, we had another one on Friday.

  • [livejournal.com profile] phiil and [livejournal.com profile] lucien_dark's: If you can count turning up at 10:30 and being dragged off into town without even getting through the gate, then returning around 2:00 as everyone left and tormenting [livejournal.com profile] phiil with annoying repetive songs about badgers and sticking Rizlas all over Rich's face...

  • Time wasted trying to negotiate songs on Vib-Ribbon
  • Adultery: Jonny Violent: 1 hour 15 minutes. And we couldn't even get halfway...

  • Ebenezer Goode: The Shamen: 45 minutes.

  • Happy Happy Joy Joy: Disaster Area: 30 minutes.

  • Sunglasses at night: Tiga and Zyntherius: Forget it.

  • Other Stuff:
  • Grape Stamping Competition: We didn't enter, we just watched. Very messy. Loads of fun. Anyone want to get a team together for next year? This years' winners were a bunch of firemen who managed to squeeze 22 litres of juice in 15 minutes. (Apparently wine produced using juice from the competition will soon be available as a fine 6 month vintage. £5 a bottle - Any takers?)

  • In other news, Congratulations to [livejournal.com profile] bias who takes the Challenge Cup for two fine 10/10's in one evening. He's gonna be hard to beat.

Hehe, not that delusional really. Are you dressing up for this this thing tonight? everyone's panicking about outfits.....

    [identity profile] lucien-dark.livejournal.com 2003-09-24 07:02 am (UTC)(link)
I'm going with anita, helen and leo in my car, so there's room if you want a lift - dean's band's on at 8 so we'll probably be leaving about 7:15/7:30 ish. Chris said his house was going too, but I have no idea how they're getting there. And Phil's been saying he'll go as well, but I have my doubts......

    [identity profile] lucien-dark.livejournal.com 2003-09-24 07:55 am (UTC)(link)
Yep, that is a goodly plan. Are you dressing up all cool? I don't want to be the only one!

    [identity profile] lucien-dark.livejournal.com 2003-09-24 08:13 am (UTC)(link)
I dunno if I'll wear my mahoosive ones, they may kill me. But we shall see :-) I can take them to wear when I'm sitting down, hehehehe

    [identity profile] lucien-dark.livejournal.com 2003-09-24 08:33 am (UTC)(link)
Hehehe, quite possibly. seven and a half inches is kinda dangerous really :-)

    Hehehehe, shame on you.
