One year ago, I found out that one corner of the Elsinore had been filled for the last time. There aren't many people who can always find the bright side of any situation and who could affect so many lives in such a positive way.

One year ago, I was drinking beer in a hot tub in Las Vegas with lee_chaos. There aren't many people I know who would travel halfway around the world to ride rollercoasters and have adventures with someone they'd just started dating.

I guess you have to be thankful to have these moments. Hold on to them.

To tals...

Now turn off that computer and go and do something he would have approved of.

You know, I was thinking the exact same two thoughts this evening...

It's impossible for me to watch a film or TV show with an outdoor pool or hot-tub and not be transported back to Vegas. Or see a certain colour of sunset and not be reminded of being on the highest rollercoaster in the world in the Nevada desert with my most favouritest adventuring partner and best girl.

Life is precious and wonderful and fleeting. Grab its balls, laugh in its face and run off giggling whilst you still have the time.

There aren't many people I know who would do that with someone they'd been dating a whole year! x
