How pants is your town?

Has anyone seen the Idler's Crap Town Survey?

They're bringing out a book on the top 50 crap towns (based on the survey) just in time for Christmas:

But they seem to have left out Telford, Newport and Port Talbot...

bradford should win. hands down. i'm glad to see brighton doesn't even get a mention despite being
gay, student and pensioner capital of britain. :)

the scotland one is good- i liked the description of glenrothes as 'like milton keynes designed by h p lovecraft"!

I read in the local paper that Wolverhampton were well pissed off that they're included, mainly because they've only just become a city. I think it's somewhat unfair as well, Wolverhampton's always looked OK to me (and I used to work in one of the rougher bits, Whitmore Reans, behind the Wolves ground).

Newport's the place where they chased a paediatrician out of town, instead of a paedophile, wasn't it?

The omitted Wrexham, I think I will have to enlighten them...
