Even attempted kidnapping takes much more effort than

lucien_dark and I were able to muster on Saturday, so we ended up at Raglan Castle hostage free, ran up and down lots of stairs and through lots of doors that didn't go anywhere, met Horatio the cat, and had a 'picnic' (a.k.a dolly mixture cookies), running away just before it rained and wasting a whole afternoon in a very pleasant way with video games and beer and stuff... Frozen beer (the type with lumps of ice in it) seems to be more alcoholic than ordinary beer and I had to go home for fear of passing out on

phiil's giant sofa...

Spent Sunday recuperating in the pub over a breakfast of Archers, a huge mixed grill and a discussion about tapeworm, He-man and cooking with poo (I have *such* nice friends)... Stephen Fry's 'Bright Young Things' is recommended as light relief and HELLO to Esther, who is already bored of Exeter and was discovered round at Andy, Ponty and Steff's new place, where we rounded off the evening.

I think I laugh too much sometimes. But my brain makes the most ordinary things funny.

Some people have accused me of being disconcerting. But they'd laugh too if they were me.
