Commercialisation gone mad?

It's NOVEMBER 12TH and I have already recieved a christmas card and two christmas presents and been offered a mince pie. What the hell is going on??? (Death to Zapf Creations).

In other news, last night I did the same thing I do every tuesday. Try to take over the world? No (that's wednesdays). Went to 'Rock Inferno' (much beloved dodgy metal night). It was extra super good.

Most of Grimsoc turned up (entirely co-incidentally) and proceeded to drink everything in sight and generally lark about.

New DJ Metal Mike played a blinding set.

Old mate Jamie Ninja turned up out of the blue with new Fox Mulder image and announced that he's bored of touring and will be parking in Cardiff for a while. *yay*

Dib got drunk and forgot how to use his legs.

Dunk and Damo were almost as bad...

WTF is going on? Has the world gone mad??? I blame Americans and all their horrible twee-ness. Christmas is rubbish anyway. It's a festival of greed, money wasting and being bored in places you don't want to be with people you don't want to see.

Even our suppliers haven't started "just popping in" to drop off the pens and diaries.

Thought: does any one use paper diaries now, is there any point in flogging them as a promotional item when most people have Outlook at a minimum and palm pilots if they're "geeks" (NOT meant as an insult - honest)
