Ah Monday... Back in work with a whole bunch of disgruntled Welsh people complaining about England winning the rugby, so today should be good fun. On the up side, the boys from the job centre are outside digging a big hole in the frosty ground for me (well, not actually for me, just on my behalf) while I get to stay inside and 'supervise' (eg: shout) at them from the window... Heh heh heh.

Thursday Saw 'Love Actually' with HP and Mark. Not quite as funny as I had hoped, but saved by a brilliant performance by Bill Nighy. The cinema was packed to capacity and sweltering hot and we sat next to a group of girls who kept randomly singing and texting people so by the time we got out I was ready for a beer and some loud music at 'Sin' where I proceeded to get trashed with dead_end_doll, Dunk, Dave, Dan, Marie and others...

Friday Headed over to Bristol to do the Digi:tec thing with patrick_lansley and Emily. Drank rum & ginger, vodka mudshakes and lager. Got a headache. Chatted away to various people; including faerierhona, Jonny and Karl. Bought some indecipherable chicken on the way home, then dropped it on the floor. Bah.

Saturday A quick tour of the shops and a visit to mr_tails's stall followed by a pint, a bit of food and the kidnap of xxxrated (who had been stranded in Bristol) before heading over to Bath for a few drinks in the Hobgoblin and a night at Entropy, which must be the *smallest* club I have ever been to - but was most excellent. You can't complain about a place which plays the Vic Reeves version of 'I'm a believer', 'Ebeneezer Goode' and Shampoo's 'Trouble' at the end of the night.

Sunday Took a hungover xxxrated round to bias's place so that they could make beautiful music together (*ahem*) then went home and started work on some wicked new extensions, which ought to be ready for Bogiez this weekend...

There's a bus through town: think you could catch it on Crwys Road somewhere around 9:00 - I'll get on at the Ernest Willows...

Can you guys remind me about this, if it's going to be like Bogiez, it should be entertaining :) Hopefully, it might spawn a Detonation type revival, I really miss that gloomy old place with the well dressed funky people :(

I doubt that it will be much like Bogiez as it's in a different venue with different DJs. Still, it might be worth going along just to watch JTG commit DJ suicide by playing bad techno to a bunch of hoary old rockers (and because xxxrated is doing it, of course)...
