Thinking about inking

Was searching through some of my old uni notes a while ago and discovered a rather lovely piece of Art Nouveau which I copied from an old book of fairytales with the intention of having it as a tattoo...

Well, I've been pondering this one for weeks and I just can't decide whether or not it's a good idea... If I were to have it, it would be done in a light colour at the base of my spine. It's a triangular line drawing about 5cm across.

So, my questions are -

1. I already have two small tattoos (so it's too late to save my skin), but would three be naff?

2. Is there any point in getting it done as a temporary tattoo? Has anyone had any good/bad experiences with them?

3. Heard something from someone a while back about UV ink. Does anyone know anywhere which uses it?

Opinions please!

UV ink sounds cool. I'm guessing that doesn't work like the stamps, though, so you only see it under lights...

Wouldn't mind knowing a bit more about that myself if anyone cares to share...?

There is a girl from brum called Greta that has a tattoo done in white ink which glows under uv. As she is very pale it looks really cool, and doesn't look very prominant until you look closely.

Wow, I'd like some info on this UV ink too, let me know when you find out more.

Could scan the design and put it up? I think it's more the number of tattoos you were asking about rather than the actual design wasn't it? Well I personally don't think three is naff unless it's three in a row down one arm or something. Once saw a woman with three of those horrible tacky hearts-with-scrolls down her arm, presumably one each for her husband and two kids. *shudder*

You've obviously thought about it, so go for it. Not got a clue about the benefits of temporary ones though, sorry. :)

I'm only saying this once.
Do NOT get a uv tattoo under ANY circumstances.
Anywhere that does it is obviously not aware that is has 3 major problems...

1)It turns slightly brown when not under UV
2)It constantly itches.
3)It's Causes cancer.

Virtually everyone who has had a UV tattoo has had them removed.

a non-toxic uv reactive agent has yet to be discovered thus you don't want that shit under your skin. another good one is glitter tattoos...a few days after having them inked your body begins to reject every single piece of glitter by pushing it back out through your skin. what a wonderful world.
