I just had a Toffee Crisp for lunch. Interesting, I know. But more interesting are the ingredients of a Toffee Crisp:

"Toffee (16%), crisped cereal (9%), milk chocolate..."

Amazing. Who'd have guessed it?

I'm not bored anymore... We were all sitting round having a discussion on which colours were most likely to make you commit suicide (yellow and brown apparently) and I was staring at the yellow bit on the packet where the ingredients were listed and that's when I noticed.

But imagine if that was your job: "These sandwiches contain: bread (40%), butter (5%), err cheese (30%), slightly wilted lettuce..." I mean. How pointless.

true but the opportunity to insert erroneous contents would just be tempting, for example slipping 'lightly toasted man batter' or 'may contain traces of rhino's nuts'

You remember Simon? He had a job for a while testing Sunny Delight just to check it really *did* contain all the nasty chemicals on the label... Something like that would have really messed him up:

Still, Sunny D is very careful to put on its bottles all teh good stuff it contains. It just neglects to put in details about the 'other' contents...

Well, yeah, but by the time I got that far, we were talking about how Ken has a secret undeground lair filled with japanese people riding round on golf buggies so I got distracted.

We've decided now that they all wear boiler suits with a picture of Ken on the sleeve and that those people out there fixing the ramp are actually surreptitiously installing a missile silo, which explains the big round bit in the middle of the blast furnace floor.
Ken plans to take over the world with so-called 'environmentally friendly cat litter' which gives off mind control gas.

(Yes kids, it's fun to work at an old industrial plant, secretly converted into the subterranian lair of an evil supervillain.)

Actually, that's a bloody good point... I've just paid 35p for something which is about 70% air, once you take the chocolate into account. I feel ripped off...
