Fear my organisational skills!

miss_squiddyYesterday morning the sum total of my weeks of effort to organise a christmas concert amounted to:
1) a venue
2) one member of the clergy.
This afternoon I have managed to magically produce seating, staging, readers, a team of stewards and first aiders, free christmas trees - and full insurance cover and risk assessments. I've managed to convince the council not to charge us for a public entertainment licence AND I've just managed to book Meriel Andrew to come and sing 'O Mio Babbino Caro'. (How brilliant is that?)
*phew*
Tomorrow I shall be producing publicity material and an order of service and searching for a PA system and some musicians.[1]

I think it's a great idea, and I want silly games on obscene amounts of drugs at my housewarming. Now that will be fun. It would be even funnier if Dave manages to get us any mescaline. Picture the scene...
